I started cooking at a young age, learning from my grandparents, who had their own successful BBQ restaurant in Kansas City. And then, always having parents who cooked every day, it became a sanctuary for me. Eating as a family was our sacred time together. That's when my love of food started to emerge. As my interest grew, I started taking home economics and culinary classes in school. Then, while in high school, I got accepted to a career center that focused on Culinary Arts and career development. It allowed me to travel and compete, helping me earn scholarships to get access to one of the top three culinary programs in the US.

I then left there to help investors and corporate companies open several successful restaurants. I came back home to Kansas City with the amazing opportunity to show just how a touch of flavor can add so much joy to any occasion.
